SUMMARY:Women's Swiftwater Rescue July 7-8
DESCRIPTION:Dates: Choose between July 5–6 or July 7–8\nLocation: Teton County\, WY \nThis course aims to empower participants with essential swiftwater rescue skills and foster confidence on the river. By increasing women’s representation in river safety and rescue\, we contribute to a more inclusive and resilient outdoor community. While participation rates have grown\, women are still underrepresented in areas like whitewater boating and extreme adventures. Addressing this requires efforts to ensure equitable access\, dismantle stereotypes\, and promote a sense of belonging for all individuals\, including those with intersecting identities. \nWe also recognize that there might be men in our community facing significant social or economic barriers to accessing this type of training. If this applies to you\, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to support everyone in building a safer river community.

SUMMARY:SRF Spring Sweep
DESCRIPTION:Each spring\, as the snow melts and boats hit the water\, Snake River Fund rallies experienced boaters for the Spring Sweep\, an annual river cleanup dedicated to the removal of winter trash in the river corridor. Floating from South Park to Pritchard\, participants work together to remove trash and debris\, ensuring a cleaner\, healthier\, and more aesthetic river for all. This event often draws a strong showing from the fishing guide community\, whose deep connection to the river fuels their commitment to giving back. More than just a cleanup\, Spring Sweep marks the start of the boating season with a shared spirit of stewardship and camaraderie.
