Each spring, the Snake River Fund leads a hands-on river cleanup that removes windblown trash, debris, and forgotten items from the Snake River corridor after the long winter. Volunteers hit the water in rafts, driftboats, and kayaks, scouring the banks and gravel bars to give the river a fresh start for the season ahead.
Just as important as the trash removal, the Spring Sweep connects people to the river through stewardship. Volunteers experience the river up close, building a stronger sense of ownership and responsibility for its care. The Sweep embodies our belief that action fosters connection, and connection inspires lasting protection. Join us, one piece of trash at a time, to help keep the Snake River clean, wild, and accessible for all.
Boats Launch @ 11am from South Park Boat Ramp.
