The State of the Resource Address is an open forum where community members, recreators, and stakeholders gather to discuss the most pressing issues, challenges, and latest data surrounding the Upper Snake River Headwaters. Whether you’re new to these resplendent waters or a seasoned river runner, this event will provide valuable insights into the topics shaping the river’s future in 2025 and beyond. Through expert presentations and discussions, attendees gain a deeper understanding of the river’s health, evolving policies, and the role we all play in its stewardship.

Women’s Swiftwater Rescue July 5-6

This course aims to empower participants with essential swiftwater rescue skills and foster confidence on the river. By increasing women’s representation in river safety and rescue, we contribute to a more inclusive and resilient outdoor community. While participation rates have grown, women are still underrepresented in areas like whitewater boating and extreme adventures. Addressing this requires efforts to ensure equitable access, dismantle stereotypes, and promote a sense of belonging for all individuals, including those with intersecting identities.
